Removing The Stigma of Mental Illness

There is a silent epidemic in Chaffee County of families struggling with mental illness in one or more family members.  The first step in ending the silence is to remove the stigma and allow for open discussion of both the problem itself and treatment options.  We do this through classes, a family support group and special events.  We are also developing programs for young people.  Recovery, at some level, is always possible.
