- Since the late 1800’s, Montrose County has been feeding the valley and our nation with fruits, grains, vegetables
and livestock. - The modern farmer faces many challenges owning a farm in today’s economy with a changing environment and ever
evolving technology. - With your help, a $2500 Future Farmers Scholarship will be awarded annually to two Montrose County graduates. Seniors from Montrose County high schools, including non-traditional schools are eligible.
Montrose County and Montrose Community Foundation believe in honoring the tradition of our agricultural heritage and have created and seeded this scholarship.
