Mini-Blessings was founded to provide equine assisted activities and learning in the Central Colorado region. Mini-Blessings has partnered with BVSD, Boys and Girls Club, Full Circle of Leadville, 4-H, ElevateHer, and other local organizations and therapists to provide programs and activities. Our programs benefit youth, families, senioros, special needs individuals, and others who interact with our wonderful minis. Our programing teaches skills that help both participants and volunteers cope with challgenges of daily living. We will soon have new programs in Hippotherapy that will add even more depth to our existing programs.
Minis are wonderful messengers because they are honest and non-judgemental as well as less intimidating than a full size horse.
We operate totally on donations and grants and with help of unpaid volunteers. We charge no fees for our services. Community support is essential to keeping our programs viable and our minis healthy and fed.
