The Isaac Ishmael Initiative has created the 'Mensch' Fund to honor the life of Marty Newman and to pass on his legacy of hard work, integrity, and resilient living to future generations.
Donations to the Fund will prioritize younger people who are the "unlikely" choices for roles due to socio-economic status, lack of education or other life challenges.
This priority of the "unlikely leader" reflects Marty's life and the servant leadership he exhibited in a variety of volunteer contexts: from Boy Scouts to the Destroyer Escort Association to the local Senior Center.
