Word of Thanks for LiftUp of Routt County

LiftUp of Routt County has been providing help for the present, and hope for the future to those in our community for 30 years and is currently serving one in every seven of our Routt County neighbors. 

Our services include: 

• Access to free, nutritious food through our two Food Banks
• Healthy snacks for over 600 local students every week through our Rocket Pack Program
• Emergency Financial Assistance for housing costs, medical bills, utility payments and more
• Case Workers who assist with government assistance, self-sufficiency and resource referrals
• Donation Center for clothing and goods – allowing community members give back while reducing waste
• A Thrift Store with affordable and sustainable shopping for the whole community, with revenue that supports our services. 
• Thrift store vouchers for those in need
• Hope for the Future Scholarships for both traditional and non-traditional students

And our current LiftUp Our Future Capital Campaign will allow us to expand our facilities to continue to meet the growing needs of our community for years to come.

Over the past 10 years, we have seen a 67% increase in demand for our Food Bank. This campaign is helping to fund our Food Bank, which is one of Routt County’s most critical resources to help people in times of need. We depend on your donations to help keep fresh, healthy, high-quality food on our shelves to feed our neighbors. 

LiftUp's Food Bank and programs address hunger and poverty.  In 2025, we distributed 493,787 pounds of grocery items to 3,020 individual; 6,779 boxes of USDA food staples; and provided 186,572 snacks to an average of 620 children per week through our Rocket Pack program.  We work to help our neighbors thrive. 

Donations of $250 or more to our Food Bank, general operations, and Capital Campaign may be eligible for the Colorado Enterprise Zone Tax credit.  Learn more here.
