Support the Dancers of Life/Art Dance!

Dancers often feel called to dance. And because of this calling, dancers will dance at every opportunity, paid or not. This tendency to give their skills away for free puts these artists at a disadvantage. It is Life/Art’s ultimate goal to disrupt this pattern, to compensate its dancers for every rehearsal they take part in, every performance they do, and every class they teach. All of Life/Art’s dancers have at least one degree in dance or equivalent experience, and those years of study and skill development should not go unrecognized. As a very small arts organization, Life/Art has worked tirelessly to transform this lofty goal into a reality for years. We are almost there, but we need a little help from you, our supporters, to ensure that all Life/Art’s dancers are compensated for all of the time they devote to creating meaningful artistic work for the public.
