Support the Immeasurable Power of Horses!

Hi! What a year it has been!  I am the new Chair of The Board of Directors of The Right Step.  It is such an honor to serve in this capacity and guide our staff, volunteers and supporters through our next big Step.  Our dream of dream of being able to expand our programs is going to be a reality in 2026!  We are moving to a new home at the Denver Polo Club (6359 Airport Rd, Sedalia, CO 80135)!

This move is more than a change of address — it’s a leap forward for our mission. Our new location means we’ll have our own 20-stall barn, our own indoor and outdoor arenas, and our own turnout pens that will better support our horses, lessons, and community programs. With more space and improved facilities, we’ll be able to serve our clients and volunteers with greater comfort, safety, and accessibility.

We are incredibly grateful for the role you play in our journey. As we prepare for this transition, we’ll need your help to make it a success.

This is a brand new barn. Construction is scheduled to start in mid-December. Anticipated move-in date is April 1.  We are raising funds to support all the extras we will need to run and maintain our own barn.

I started volunteering at The Right Step when I retired.  I wanted to learn as much as I could about horses, but it was the one-on-one interaction with the clients that really won my affection. The way our amazing horses instinctively connect with clients and the remarkable changes that I have witnessed.  I have seen younger clients grow physically and developmentally, I have seen adults with disabilities gain confidence and mobility. And the joy they each express at the end of every lesson is so beautiful.❤

Help me reach my fundraising goal of $150,000 to make this move to Denver Polo Club and our very own barn a reality.
