Between now and the end of the year, Illuminate Colorado is raising $40,000 to build brighter futures for children and families in Colorado.

One hundred percent of funds raised will support effective programs that keep Colorado kids safe and strengthen families throughout the year.

Thanks to the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, monetary donations made to Illuminate Colorado are eligible for a 50% tax credit. This means that when you donate, you can receive a substantial portion of your contribution back as a credit against your Colorado state income taxes. I care about strengthening families because I have seen first hand the difference that it makes. In a world filled with uncertainty, just know that there are more people than imaginable working to make a change. Being a part of an organization that is rooted in supporting families has been incredibly rewarding. My favorite part of my role is knowing that families all across Colorado are seeing positive outcomes from working with our programming that increases their families protective factors. These are the seemingly small things that can make BIG impacts in families lives.
