Clinic Expansion and Advocacy

For over a year, our Clinic has had a waitlist

To meet the needs of our continued growth and best serve our students, clients, and create space for future learning opportunities, ITEA opened a newly renovated and expanded Clinic space in October of 2025!

This new space includes:

  • Two additional treatment rooms to reduce wait times and increase appointment availability, each with sinks and amazing natural light
  • A new flex space designed for groups, classroom teaching, supervision shifts, workshops, and multi-purpose use
  • Increased storage areas to support smoother operations and improved organization, including more access to sinks and hand-washing, intern belongings and more
  • Access through the adjoining Clinic door will allow for a continuation of physical space

These upgrades reflect our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and sustainable environment

Your support to ensure this Clinic expansion is sustained long into the future is so important for the next generations of ITEA! Donations can be made towards our Clinic Wish List fund as well, to fully appoint our new space and make enhancements throughout our healing space.

Community Access

The ITEA Clinic offers accessible care through lower payment options and scholarships. Local practioner rates for acupuncture range from $80-$130 per treatment.

  • With a more accessisble fee strucure, ITEA offers $20, $40 and $58 treatment rates.
  • In addition, Client Access Scholarships are offered throughout the year to four different people based on an application process. This provides six months of weekly treatment at $20 per session.

We can provide Five Element Acupuncture, and the mind, body, and spirit support it provides, at a rate that aligns with a client’s ability to pay while honoring the cost of operating our Clinic.

The ITEA Clinic values both the accessibility and affordability of the care we provide.

To ensure all people can access this ancient medicine, and to limit factors that may prohibit community members from receiving care, your donations allow us to provide equitable access to services while maintaining professional standards of care.
