Imagine walking into a space where you are meant to learn and grow, yet every sign tells you, “You don’t belong” or “You are not enough”. This is the reality for too many of our children. Systemic barriers in education—whether rooted in inequities of race, socioeconomic status, or access to resources—are not just obstacles to learning but threats to life. These barriers erode the mental, emotional, and physical health of our youth, contributing to tragic outcomes: children feeling unseen, unsupported, and, in the most devastating cases, dying far too soon. 

In 2024, P.L.A.Y. (Please. Learn. As. You.) Education PUSHED BOUNDARIES by creating an organization that challenges the status quo. We continually think outside of our comfort zones, drawing on the expertise and perspectives of others to enhance our empathy for those with different lived experiences. Our mission goes beyond individual impact; it is about creating systemic change and fostering environments where all children can thrive, regardless of their circumstances. By focusing on whole-child initiatives and forging strong partnerships, we aim to build a more inclusive and supportive community, paving the way for long-term success and sustainability.

Now, in 2025, we are looking to DEFY GRAVITY by transforming schools and communities so that all children can rise, no matter their circumstances. We are committed to continuing pushing boundaries to create systems ensuring every child has the support they need to learn, grow and thrive; just as they are.

In these uncertain times, we recognize the financial challenges faced by individuals, organizations, and businesses. We also understand that the topics we advocate for and prioritize are sensitive and difficult for some but doing nothing will only perpetuate the tragic outcomes of poverty, obesity, risky behaviors, and declining mental health among children.

P.L.A.Y. Education is ready to tackle these challenges and create better, healthier outcomes—but we can’t do it alone. We need champions like YOU—individuals, businesses, and organizations willing to stand out, take risks, and boldly advocate for equity and change.

Imagine the impact: If every person donated just $30 today, we could expand our reach to five new schools. Together, we’d touch the lives of approximately 2,500 students, 250 staff members, and five communities in need.
