In honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, 7 tattoo studios, 40 volunteers, and over 450 participants joined us in a day of storytelling and community building across the Denver Metro area on September 6, 2025. Hope;ink is a meaningful extension of the broader worldwide initiative, providing a local platform for individuals to “ink” their story, unite in solidarity, and express themselves through the semicolon symbol.
For a minimum donation of $60, attendees chose from a selection of impactful semicolon tattoos. Donation options were available for those unable to attend or who would like to make this experience possible for another individual. All proceeds from this event are benefiting Jefferson Center’s programs and services.
A tattoo often symbolizes a decision to honor loss, celebrate triumphs, or commemorate life experiences. At Jefferson Center, we’re dedicated to helping individuals share, heal, and possibly rewrite their stories through our mission and services. Attendees had opportunities to engage by sharing their stories, getting access to mental health resources if they need them, honoring lost loved ones, or celebrating their resilience.
