The needs of families have continued to rise. Financial stresses and food insecurity are primary causes. Households served the past year increased by 60% and the amount of food distributed doubled to over 300,000 lbs. The MRC also introduced a mobile dental clinic, a free summer camp for children ages 6-10, and established a job training program. A pre-school program was started this year in response to input from parents.
