The Floyd Hill Trail System is a brand new, master planned, and professionally designed multi-use trail system just off I-70 near Idaho Springs. The 12-mile system got off to a fast start last summer with 6 segments completed. But the crown jewel awaits! Segment 4 is flagged, ready for construction with building planned this Spring, opening in late June 2019. We need your help in funding a professional bike-specific trail builder to make this trail awesome.
Highlights:
• Downhill directional, BIKE ONLY trail
• 1.2 miles, descending roughly 800 feet
• Plenty of techy roots, boulders, features and alt lines
COMBA and Team Evergreen Cycling are partnering to raise these funds from local businesses and individuals alike. With the MTB community already donating more than $20K and with support from local business partners (Yeti Cycles, pedal Bike Shop, Colorado Deckmasters) we are within $20K of our goal!!
To finish the fundraising and begin construction, Team Evergreen has just kicked in $5K and will add another $5K when we reach the $20K level on this campaign! Wow, big thanks to Team Evergreen!! Let's make this trail a collaborative effort for the mountain biking community to enjoy for years to come.
Team Evergreen actively supports bicycling in Colorado to promote its continued growth and enjoyment. Producers of the Triple Bypass and Mt Evans Hill Climb, TE donates all proceeds of their events to local non-profits and cycling advocacy organizations, over $2.6M to date. www.teamevergreen.org
