Amy's Giving Together for Good

My family is raising money for Chaffee County Community Foundation. We moved to Chaffee County in the beautiful Colorado mountains in 2022. We live in Salida and are surrounded by the best of the outdoors - rafting, skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, camping and more. We believe in protecting what you hold dear so we are asking others who celebrate the outdoors, and community, to take action. 

The Chaffee County Community Foundation works everyday to build community - making this an amazing place to live, work, and play. While the organization supports many nonprofits who take on the most pressing issues of our time, like mental health, homelessness and housing, it's their colloborative work that we value most. 

Chaffee County Community Foundation is a convener, a collaborator, a problem solver who brings individuals and organizations together to address the challenge at hand. Most recently, it was child care and affordable housing. Tomorrow it will be public safety and balanced growth, and yes, land conservation and water. We value their leadership in bringing many minds together to create solutions. 

If you have visited us here in Chaffee County, you know. If you've enjoyed a bike ride, or trail run, or a downhill ski or drink by the Arkansas River, you've seen this place in action. Thank you for considering a gift.
