It has been a truly monumental year for Reproductive Justice. Our team has been working for years to expand abortion, contraceptive, and other health care access; 2022 has been like no other. After leading the hard earned passage of RHEA which codified abortion as a right in the Colorado Constitution, our team braced for the fall of Roe, and we were there for our community when it happened!
Now, we're not backing down! 2023 marks 25 years of strong Latina leadership through COLOR, 25 years of power building in the Latino community, and 25 years of advocacy and organizing! Next up, we're working to pass a ballot measure that will ensure that the right to abortion is a law that can NEVER be overturned AND will repeal the state funding ban. We're working to expand medicaid to those who need it most!
