GWHS Food Pantry

GWHS Food Pantry provides access to food, hygiene, and other necessities to students and staff at George Washington High School. We are currently serving approximately 100 families per week and have served over 200 unique visitors to date in the 2025-26 school year, each of whom represents an average family size of 6 people. The Pantry is open every Wednesday during the school year (excluding holiday break times). Additionally, during Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring & Summer breaks we offer special items for distribution appropriate to the holiday or season. Our mission is to support our Patriot families with food scarcity needs. We believe it is challenging to learn when hungry or stressed about your family going hungry. We endeavor to meet the need for all students & staff. This year, we have incorporated student volunteers to help stock shelves and staff the pantry, in doing so allowing those served to become a part of the solution and build a more vibrant and interactive community. We hope you will join us in our effort to provide nutritious food to families in our community.
