Help us raise the final $250,000 needed to reach our $7M goal!

$6,750,500

raised by 130 people

As the only domestic violence safehouse in Weld County, A Woman’s Place fills a crucial gap in victims’ services. Since our safehouse opened in 1978, the population of Weld County has tripled. With that growth, the need for services continues to increase (29% increase in crisis calls since last year!) With just 8 bedrooms in our old facility, we were turning away 400 individuals (including children!) each year because our safehouse was at full capacity. In 2023, we decided we had to do more to meet this critical community need.

Construction began in 2025 and our new buildings are now open!  Through our capital campaign, we doubled our capacity to serve clients and greatly increase accessibility and security.

- Our new Safehouse building allows us to provide emergency shelter to 16 families.

- Community outreach building allows us to provide prevention education as well as crisis advocacy to serve clients who need help but do not need shelter.

We have raised $6.75 million dollars for this $7 million dollar building project and need your help to raise the final $250,000!
