Steve Lundt's Bluff Lake Campaign Page

I previously had the privilege of serving on the board of Bluff Lake Nature Center for the past 5+ years, an organization that is very close to my heart and makes a huge impact on our community. I am asking you, my friends, family, and colleagues, to join me for this Campus Improvements Project Capital Campaign, so we can build the future of this wonderful place, to ensure its educational programming and natural areas are sustained for years to come.

Water is so important to us all.  I have spent my entire career focused on lakes, watersheds, and educating people about how to best protect them.  I joined this board because of a storm water spill.  Lots has happened in the past 5+ years.  I am now excited to see this project get underway and provide a great opportunity for generations to come to learn about the lake and the surrounding area. 

Currently the site has no utility hookups, very little infrastructure, accessibility concerns, and the team works out of an office several miles away. This project would provide a net zero building to house a welcome center, classrooms, offices, and a community space; power and running water; and additional site improvements, including an accessible ramp leading down into the site.  It will be the new gateway to access Bluff Lake.
