The goal of ARISE Beyond Barriers is to:
-Increase the well-being, happiness, confidence and health of people with disabilities living in Colorado.
-Provide services to people with disabilities so they can find resources and support to become or maintain independence.
-Educate the community on removing or preventing barriers which obstruct the participation of people with disabilities.
ARISE will stimulate a holistic-healthier-happier community of people with disabilities by utilizing and providing recreation, social events, life coaching and peer counseling.
ARISE currently serves many participants in Colorado with a range of disabilities including: mental, physical, mobility and developmental challenges. The interest in our programs is growing daily. We have purchased 10 adaptive bicycles, 3 track wheelchairs and a pontoon boat which have several different adaptive features to allow a wide range of people with different abilities to enjoy the fun and mobility of adaptive recreation in which Colorado has to offer.
