Alyson's Fundraising Page for Ember Center

Here we are at the end of another year, a time to reflect.  It has been a challenging year for so many non-profits, navigating the ever-changing landscape. We too have navigated many changes...moving offices, expanding our services to include sexual assault in addition to domestic violence/intimate partner violence, celebrating 40 years of serving our community, and of course a name change!  I am excited for what 2026 holds for Ember Center Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services (formerly Crisis Center).  

Once again I am reaching out to my network of friends and colleagues and ask that they consider giving to this wonderful organization that supports almost 400 clients each year.  I hope it also raises awareness around the issue of domestic violence and how it impacts the people in our lives. Below is a quote from one of our clients:

“When I realized I was being abused I called the DV hotline and they referred me to the Crisis Center. I am forever grateful because I get support in person in a safe place! Through this process I have learned so much and I am stronger with ongoing support from counselors and peers who understand and really care. It has given me hope!”
