Fundraising Fridays with Mary!

The staff at River Bridge do incredible work to help children like this one, find their voice and their strength to come back stronger after their truama. 

Recently I was able to attend a sentencing of an offender to support of one our child victims.  At the sentencing the judge takes time to hear impact statements from the victim and their family or friends. It was very powerful to hear the child's words of courage, strength and hope for their future, and that was made possible in part from the work that River Bridge did with the child, their family, and all the investigators and prosecutors that worked on the case to bring justice. It was very emotional, and to have the room filled with people who love and support the child was incredible and heart-lifting. 

I ask you to join me one (or more) Fridays and give what you can to further the work our team does to help children affected by abuse and educate our community on how to protect our children.
