From Vision to Village (Personal Fundraising Template)
Help bring Gratitude Village to life — a multigenerational community designed for connection, sustainability, and belonging.
For me, this is personal.
[INSERT 2–3 SENTENCES: Why this matters to you
• A moment of loneliness or needing support
• Housing challenges you or someone you love has faced
• A desire for community, sustainability, or belonging
• Why you chose to support Gratitude Village]
Right now, too many people are feeling the strain of rising housing costs and growing isolation.
We weren’t meant to do life alone.
Gratitude Village is a different kind of neighborhood — one where neighbors know each other, share meals, support one another, and truly belong.
We’re creating a mixed-income community of 36–56 Net Zero homes, fully accessible and centered around shared green spaces, gardens, and a common house where life unfolds together.
Here, children grow up surrounded by trusted adults.
Older adults can age in place while staying connected and supported.
And everyday life becomes a little lighter because you’re not carrying it alone.
Up to half of the homes will be permanently affordable — helping make this way of living accessible to more people.
Right now, 65 individuals — from 10 months to 80 years old — are already hoping to call this community home.
With your support, we can bring this vision to life for them.
[OPTIONAL PERSONAL LINE (1–2 sentences):
What excites you most about this vision?
Example: “What excites me most is the idea that…”]
We’re currently in the early stages — working to secure land and bring this vision to life.
Your support helps fund the essential first steps: planning, design, and community development.
This isn’t just about building homes.
It’s about building a better way to live.
[DIRECT ASK (encourage personalization):
• “I’m personally supporting this project and would love for you to join me.”
• “If this speaks to you, I hope you’ll consider making a gift.”
• “Every contribution truly makes a difference.”]
Every gift moves us one step closer.
Thank you for being part of bringing Gratitude Village from vision to village.
How Your Donation Helps
Your support moves Gratitude Village from vision to reality by funding the essential early work needed to bring a community like this to life.
Donations support:
• Land acquisition and feasibility studies
• Community design workshops and planning
• Legal, engineering, and development expertise
• Accessibility and sustainability planning
• Outreach to future residents and partners
These early steps are what make a community like this possible — and sustainable for generations to come.
Why I’m Supporting This Campaign
[You can personalize this as much as you want or just use what I have here]
I’m supporting Gratitude Village because I believe we need new ways of living — ones that foster connection, expand access to homeownership, and care for our planet.
Gratitude Village is creating a place where neighbors know and support one another, where homes are sustainable and accessible, and where people of all ages and backgrounds can truly belong.
By contributing, you’re helping bring this vision to life — and supporting a model that could inspire communities across Colorado and beyond.
