The holidays should bring comfort and connection—not worry about having enough to eat. Yet many Latino families in Colorado are struggling to afford food while keeping up with rent, utilities, and other necessities. Feeding America estimates that more than one in five Latino Coloradans experience food insecurity. The Colorado Health Foundation’s 2026 Pulse Poll underscores this pressure: 44% of Latino respondents worried about affording enough food, and 34% reported missing or making a late utility payment in the previous year. 

Servicios de la Raza’s Holidays en Comunidad will bring families together to receive free food, clothing, and services in a spirit of generosity, dignity, and belonging. Our goal is to ease the strain on household budgets and make space for the joy every family deserves. This gathering is also a reminder to our neighbors: you are valued, you belong, and you do not have to face difficult times alone.
