I’m raising funds for Western Resource Advocates (WRA) this Colorado Gives Day because I believe the West deserves a healthy future.
WRA works across seven Interior West states — including Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah — to protect what makes this region so special. We focus on three core areas that shape the West’s future:
- ⚡Accelerating the transition away from fossil fuels and cutting climate pollution.
- 🌊Ensuring the Colorado River and waterways across the West can sustain people and nature.
- 🌲Conserving the landscapes, habitat, and wildlife that make the region unique.
I lead the Healthy Rivers team. I am happy to report we are making great progress, securing water for rivers and helping stretch our existing water supplies farther. This year, I’m especially proud of Healthy Rivers team members who wrote and passed Colorado House Bill 25-1113, a new law that requires communities to set reasonable limits for turfgrass for new homes and businesses.
This year, my personal goal is to raise $5,000 for WRA. Every dollar makes a difference – will you join me in protecting the future of the West we all love?
