Liberty 250 Campaign

The Liberty 250 exhibit is a traveling 180-linear-foot display featuring 15 large-scale panels (shown above) that tell the powerful story of America’s War for Independence. It highlights the colonial unrest that led to the American Revolution and the forging of a new nation, with a special emphasis on the extraordinary courage of veterans and the people who served and sacrificed for the cause of liberty. 

This vibrant full-color exhibit features iconic American Revolution era artwork that brings our nation’s struggle for independence to life. It was created by Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado in honor of America’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and made its first debut this year during Memorial Day weekend at the Plaza. It has been on display at various large scale community celebrations throughout the summer. 

This magnificent display has traveled to 8 Colorado cities since July 4th to Berthoud, Fort Collins, Gilcrest, Grand Lake, Larimer County Fair, Loveland, Scheels in Johnstown, and Wellington and has more cities scheduled throughout 2026!

Keeping the exhibit on the road requires ongoing funding to cover fuel, supplies, hardware and tools, exhibit repairs and printing of all kinds of promotional materials to keep the public informed and connected. Exhibit production and the first promotional expenses totaled $25,000. 

We are now asking for visitors who care about the ongoing education of future generations to help us keep the Liberty 250 exhibit on the road this year by giving a generous donation!
