Help Marie (and Monster!) raise $5,000

You've probably walked/driven by the Denver Children's Home so many times (right off Colorado Blvd and Colfax Ave) and not known what it was. That's how I was until I had the chance to check it out and see the life-changing work happening inside! 

Denver Children's Home (DCH) delivers high-quality education and the gold standard of care to some of the most vulnerable children in our community – victims of abuse, neglect, and trauma who often have serious mental illness and no other place to go. DCH is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic space for these students to heal and grow – restoring hope and providing the tools they need to reclaim their lives. 

You can't meet the teachers and the leaders at DCH and not want to dedicate you time and resources to supporting their work -- and I'm honored to have the opportunity to do exactly that as one of their newest Board members. 

Now, I am helping to lead a team of fellow Board members to make this CO Giving Day our best fundraising campaign yet -- and I'm asking for your help (and shamelessly using my cute dog to make the ask!) 

DCH is essential to our state – abuse and neglect hurts more than 37,000 children a year in Colorado, but so many residential treatment programs have closed in the last few years, leaving even fewer options for kids. I am hoping you can help support the Home's future so they can continue supporting the kids who most need and deserve this care!
