I’m raising money for Elevating Connections because every child deserves connection, family, and the chance to feel like they belong.
When kids enter foster care, they lose so much — their home, their routines, their friends, their sense of stability. But the most heartbreaking loss is often their siblings. Many brothers and sisters are separated into different placements and only see each other a few times a year… sometimes only for hours.
Elevating Connections changes that.
Through Camp Connect, Sibling Connecting Events, monthly Community Dinners, and year-round arts and expression programming, siblings get time together — real time — to be kids, to be themselves, and to feel like a family again.
This shouldn’t be rare. This shouldn’t be once a year. This shouldn’t depend on luck or circumstance.
And that’s why I’m part of this campaign.
Elevating Connections is raising $200,000 through the Together & Stronger campaign to continue this year-round programming and bring Camp Connect back stronger than ever.
