For ten years, Elevating Connections has created joyful spaces for youth impacted by foster care to build community, connection, and self-expression.
Through our bi-monthly Sibling Connecting Events and week-long Camp Connect, siblings separated in foster care get to do what every kid deserves—just be kids together. They laugh, play, make memories, and strengthen bonds that last a lifetime.
Our Community Dinners, Arts and Writing Workshops, and annual Poetry Jam bring youth and young adults together to share meals, stories, and creativity—reminding them they belong.
Earlier this year, we made the difficult decision to cancel Camp Connect 2025 due to lack of funds. It was heartbreaking—but we are determined to ensure that Camp Connect returns in June 2026. These siblings deserve that time together, and with your support, we will make it happen.

Elevating Connections is dedicated to building sustained positive relationships for current & former youth in foster care-including those experiencing sibling separation-to use their voice & build meaningful community connections.
Elevating Connections is all about strengthening Colorado families! Since our founding in 2015, we have continued to provide recreational and youth voice programming for siblings, children, youth, and young adults impacted by foster care that help to build and nurture connections to self, community, siblings, and safe, trusting adults. Having positive, supportive permanent connections while in foster care and beyond can help improve lifelong mental and physical health outcomes.
