As Board Members of the Big Thompson Watershed Coalition, I am encouraging us to continue making sure we can claim "We are 100% Board Member Supported". We did it in 2024 - let's do it again in 2025!
What does this claim mean? It means that WE, as Board Members are putting our money where our values and beliefs lie. We can share that we are ALL IN - regardless of the amount we gift - this allows us to make the claim when we apply for funding, or when we solicite donations or when we are reviewed by charity reporting agencies. This is a doable goal, because it is not about the size of the gift - it is about all being on board with giving.
