About Victory Valor:

Victory Valor is a specialized program within Victory Service Dogs dedicated to ending suicide and restoring hope among Veterans and First Responders through the power of service dog partnerships.

Participants in the Victory Valor Program commit to 18–24 months of personalized training, working side-by-side with experienced trainers to develop a strong, task-trained service dog that supports both physical and invisible disabilities such as PTSD, anxiety, mobility challenges, and traumatic brain injuries.

Every dog is trained as a medical device, equipped to perform advanced, individualized tasks that help reduce anxiety, improve stability, interrupt flashbacks, and promote emotional regulation. Beyond the training, Victory Valor provides peer support, community connection, and renewed purpose—critical factors proven to reduce suicide risk in the Veteran and First Responder community.

Program Impact:

Since launching the Victory Valor Program in 2015, Victory Service Dogs has empowered over 300 Veterans and First Responders to reclaim their independence, confidence, and sense of purpose through service dog partnerships.

Participants in the program complete 18–24 months of customized training, resulting in highly skilled service dogs capable of performing advanced medical and mobility tasks tailored to each handler’s unique needs. These partnerships have been proven to:

* Improve social connection and daily functioning

* Increase overall quality of life and emotional well-being

* Lower suicide risk through ongoing support and community engagement
