KAHUBA.org is an umbrella organization committed to “EMPOWERING LIVES TO THRIVE!” via outreach arms benefiting Humans, Animals and Nature that embraces multi-nonprofit collaboration.

KAHUBA offers INNOVATIVE evidence-based SOLUTIONS to support their curated programs and education via KAHUBA Animal & Nature Sanctuaries; Human Holistic Outreach; plus Service & Training. KAHUBA programs annually help 15,000+ youth, teens, adults, seniors, minorities, disabled, emergency/first responders, active military, veterans & families, along with 1,000+ animals.

With deep reverence, KAHUBA commits to responsible earth management and land stewardship practices that preserve precious natural habitats and complex eco-communities

We strive to foster a balanced co-existence between ALL beings so life may flourish for future generations of every species

Our sustainable farming, forestry & healthy land management methods demonstrate:

Eco-Conscious Organic Gardening, Farming & Restorative Ranching Practices

KAHUBA Nature Sanctuaries commit to responsible earth management practices that preserve precious natural habitats and complex eco communities, while fostering a balanced co-existence between all sentient beings. Our commitment to pesticide-free and till-less farming practices, alongside rotational grazing, continuously replenishes the earth as a full circle process that starts with what our animals ingest and includes feeding quality weed free hay.

Four Winds Wholeness Sanctuary is our Castle Rock ranch and largest sanctuary, a sprawling 35-acre historic countryside homestead established in 1892 which hosts year round live events and education, serving as KAHUBA headquarters and primary animal sanctuary.

Indian Creek Wilderness Refuge serves as a seasonal educational space and provides abundant high-country summer grazing for our animals in Sedalia’s Pike National Forest, an historic and beautifully preserved 1856 mountain homestead spanning 11 enchanted acres. Mature aspen groves, towering centurion pines, lush bio diverse riparian zones, and abundant flora and fauna, allow wild animals to roam and thrive, and humans to ground and grow immersed in nature’s tranquil sacred spaces.

Our KAHUBA nature guides combine the healing abilities presented by the natural world with environmental and spiritual stewardship through introspective and imaginative mind/body/spirit activities, re-blending the connection with oneself, nature, and all that surrounds us.  When we humans quietly interact with the natural world with deeper awareness and reverence, we develop skills and patience for more compassionately connecting with all being throughout our planet with heightened sensitivity.

We offer Environmental Sustainability Workshops, Retreats, Volunteer Programs and Internships at our ranches, farms and wilderness refuges that include a variety of the following:
