Troy’s Flyathlon Fundraiser

Running RiversA fundraiser to restore and protect beautiful streams in Iowa

$500 goal
For the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the Driftless Flyathlon, which is a unique event that combines fly fishing and running.
The flyathlon is a lot of fun, but it also brings together people who care deeply about protecting and restoring the streams, forests, and natural areas that make Northeast Iowa such a special place. Since the event began, we have raised more than $121,000 to support restoration projects at Yellow River State Forest and other areas throughout Northeast Iowa.
This year, the funds will be used for a project on Spring Branch Creek, a beautiful spring-fed stream near the hatchery in Manchester, Iowa. Funds raised will help improve and protect this important resource for trout, wildlife, and everyone who enjoys spending time on the water.
If you’re able, I’d really appreciate your support. Every donation, large or small, helps make a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser with someone who cares about Iowa’s outdoors is another great way to help.

Thank you for helping us protect the places we love and keep our streams healthy for generations to come!
