Driving Towards Brighter Futures - Bus Replacement

Every morning at Grand Kids Learning Center, the excitement begins before the first storybook is opened or the first paintbrush is dipped. Our teachers welcome smiling faces, little hands clutching backpacks, and the energy that fills our hallways as children start their day of learning and discovery.

For many of our families, the journey to and from school — and the adventures beyond our doors — depend on one important tool: our center van. It’s how we safely bring children on nature walks, and explore our beautiful mountain community.

But our bus has seen many seasons — countless miles, muddy boots, and giggling passengers. It has served us well, but it’s now nearing the end of its road. Repairs have become frequent and costly, and we know it’s time for a reliable, safe replacement.

We’re launching the “Driving Toward Brighter Futures” campaign to raise funds for a new 15-passenger van that will carry our kids safely wherever learning takes them. The total cost, including necessary safety equipment and insurance, is ~$50,000 and every dollar raised brings us one step closer to keeping our programs running smoothly and safely.

A new van means:

• Safe transportation for children to and from activities.

• Exciting field trips that turn lessons into hands-on discovery.

• Reliable access for families who depend on us for daily care.
