Home for the Holidays 2025: Together, Creating a Holiday Miracle

This holiday season, No Kill Colorado (NKC) is thrilled to launch our annual "Home for the Holidays" campaign, uniting compassionate Coloradans in our mission to save hundreds of homeless pets between Thanksgiving and Christmas! In partnership with SARA (Shelter and Rescue Alliance) Colorado, dedicated PACFA-licensed rescues and shelters across the state, giving our beloved dogs, cats, and ferrets the chance they deserve to find loving homes.

Last year, we reached an incredible lifesaving success, helping over 150 pets find homes. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher, aiming for 200 adoptions—and with your support, we could even reach 300!

To kick things off, to truly make this holiday miracle happen, we need your support. Each time one of these special pets—those aged 3 years and older or with unique medical or behavioral needs—finds a home, NKC will donate $50 to the shelter or rescue that made it happen. These incredible pets often wait longer to be adopted, but they have so much love to give, and with your help, they can be Home for the Holidays.

Every adoption helps support shelters and rescues across Colorado in finding homes for deserving animals over 3 years old and those with special needs.
