Earth Day Fundraiser Match Drive!

We are excited to announce a generous matching incentive donation from The Benjamin Family Foundation! Between now and April 22, when we host our Earth Day Water-Wise Workshop & Happy Hour, all donations will be matched, up to $5000!

Garden to Table receives no direct funding from school districts, and annual donations from our partner schools cover just 15% of the cost of the program. With steady support from foundation and government grants, we still need 10% of our annual revenue to come from individual donations. Your donation in the next two weeks can make double the impact!

Our program impacts 6,500 students, 320 teachers, and over 200 volunteers across 19 schools. Here are some recent highlights from our updated curriculum and augmented program supports:

• Our new Lesson Menu provides up to three scheduled and supported lessons per season, up from just one in past years
• 53% increase in student garden visits from 2022 to 2023
• 14% increase in teacher satisfaction in 2024 compared to 2022 - up to 92% last school year!
• 97% of teachers report increased student engagement and learning associated with garden lessons
• Every grade level has at least one key garden task every season, and 40% of lessons have planting, harvesting and/or tasting!
