Our mission is to empower school communities with gardens and curriculum to engage all students in experiential outdoor education.

Background Statement

Garden To Table is a nonprofit based in Boulder County, Colorado. Launched in 2006, we have been at the forefront of a national movement to use gardens for hands-on experiential academic learning. Students are also participating in the local food cycle, growing and tasting healthy food, practicing ecologically-sound gardening methods, connecting to nature, and engaging in meaningful work with their peers and community. Our vision is a future in which gardens are an integral part of every school community, fostering connections to nature, health and wellness, academic engagement and achievement, and community and environmental stewardship.
