LONG-TERM STABILIZATION: COVERED HOUSE

Healing is a journey—and Covered House is where survivors can truly begin to rebuild. As the long-term phase of our residential program, Covered House offers a safe, structured home for up to two years, giving survivors the time, tools, and support they need to step into lasting freedom. Here are the key details:

  1. Secure, Structured Living: Covered House provides survivors with consistent housing in a trauma-informed environment designed for healing, growth, and stability. Residents can stay for up to 24 months, offering the space needed to recover and thrive.
  2. Access to medical, mental health, dental, and vision care: We ensure that each resident receives the comprehensive care they need to heal physically and emotionally, including therapy, EMDR, and regular medical support.
  3. Support in obtaining vital documents and benefits (ID, Social Security card, Medicaid, SNAP): Our team helps survivors navigate complex systems to secure the identification and benefits necessary for employment, healthcare, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Annual Cost: Covered House costs $85,000 annually to operate. This includes housing, staff, counseling services, programming, and essential supplies. Your partnership makes long-term healing possible—providing survivors with the foundation they need to move forward with confidence, stability, and hope.

Covered Colorado reserves the right to allocate donations as needed to support the program.
