🐾🏠 Help Us Create a Cat Sanctuary + Supportive Housing Home in Greeley, CO
Where people and cats heal—together.
Across Northern Colorado, people and cats are struggling at the same time.
Individuals face housing instability, isolation, trauma, and limited income.
Stray, feral, and abandoned cats face hunger, illness, and unsafe living conditions.
We believe there is a compassionate, innovative solution that supports both—and builds community in the process.
🌿 Our Vision
We are raising funds to purchase (or build) a large home in Greeley, Colorado that will serve as:
A Cat Sanctuary + Supportive, Affordable Housing Home
In this shared residence:
Cats live freely in rooms and common areas — not in kennels
Residents live in safe, stable, affordable housing
Residents may volunteer by helping care for cats, but housing is never conditional on labor
Additional community volunteers are welcomed
-
Cats receive spay/neuter, vaccinations, food, and adoption support through partnerships with:
Animal Friends Alliance
NoCo Humane
This is a sanctuary — for animals and people.
🐱 How the Home Will Work
-
Each bedroom may house:
1–2 residents (depending on size)
1–2 cats (bonded pairs allowed)
Cats may sleep with residents or enjoy shared living spaces
A dedicated intake & quarantine room ensures animal health
-
Shared areas include:
Cat-enriched living rooms
Wall shelving, perches, and cozy hideaways
Laundry and sanitation space
-
Capacity to start:
6–10 residents
10–20 cats
Residents are not employees.
Volunteering is optional, supportive, and community-based.
🧡 Why This Model Matters
This project:
Reduces homelessness and housing insecurity
Provides trauma-informed, dignity-centered housing

Creates pathways to healing, responsibility, and belonging
One home can save lives on both sides of the leash.

Thank you from the center of our hearts. The stray/feral cats, and people experiencing the need to recover from homelessness, and get on their feet thank you too - even if they don't yet know what we are working to build.
