Since 2015, Benefits in Action has been a lifeline for neighbors through challenging times. Whether you've become unemployed, are considering retirement, or found yourself caring for an aging or ill loved one -- Benefits in Action's compassionate team of Navigators is ready to support YOU.  

With the COVID pandemic bringing concern and additional challenges to everyday life, we launched our Food Delivery Program with one goal in mind - get food into the hands of those unable to travel to food resources in their community. Since then, with the help of hundreds of committed volunteers, we've served thousands of neighbors who were ill or vulnerable, lacked transportation, were living with a disability or otherwise homebound and experiencing hunger. 

As food pantries began closing due to funding and food deserts became more vast, Benefits in Action saw an increase in requests for support.  In 2024, our Food Delivery Program delivered 15.7K boxes of healthy food to the doorsteps of neighbors across the Denver metro when they needed it most.

Today, we are modestly maintaining Food Delivery with the support of food rescue partners, dedicated volunteers, and donors like you.  With looming funding uncertainties and the soaring cost of food, we've had to adjust our services to deliver only to low-income, homebound neighbors over 60.
