Benefits in Action provides education, navigation, and application assistance to our Colorado neighbors applying for healthcare and community benefits such as Medicare, Medicaid, Connect for Health Colorado, SNAP, disability funds, unemployment and more. Other programs include food delivery, mental wellness and pro-bono tax assistance. We're here to help our community get the benefits they need so they can get back to doing what they love.

Benefits in Action is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our diverse community with a focus on the elderly and underserved, to improve their understanding, access, and utilization of food- and health-related benefits to enhance food security, health, and well-being.
Benefits in Action was founded in 2015 to eliminate gaps in service delivery for those in need of assistance with Medicare and Medicaid. Our work continues today and we have increased the benefits assistance we provide to include SNAP, Social Security Disability, Connect for Health Colorado, and many more. Additionally, we launched a program delivering food to those who are homebound, a mental wellness program connecting those who are socially isolated, and a pro-bono tax program.
