For more than 122 years, Tennyson Center for Children has served Colorado children and families navigating adversity and trauma. Its programs have evolved as needs and resources have changed, shaped by listening to the people it serves and its deep roots in the community.
Tennyson's legacy rests on an enduring commitment to intensive, individualized care for children, adolescents, and young adults with complex needs, sustained by generations of steadfast donors and community partners.
This Colorado Gives Day, you can help carry that legacy forward. Your gift supports the specialized care, expertise, and individualized approaches that help children, adolescents, and young adults learn, grow, and thrive.

About Us
Tennyson Center for Children provides specialized education, mental and behavioral health treatment, and individualized therapeutic services to Colorado children, adolescents, and young adults navigating trauma, adverse experiences, complex mental health needs, or developmental challenges.
Our K–12 School and Day Treatment Program integrates specialized education with therapeutic and behavioral health support. Transition Readiness, Employment & Engagement (TREE) helps young adults ages 16–21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities build skills and prepare for greater independence. Through Community Support Services, including In-Home Therapy, Behavior Resources for Adaptive Needs in the Community (BRANCH), and Outpatient Services, we provide therapeutic support to children and families in homes and community settings across Colorado.
Across these programs, our educators, therapists, clinicians, and other specialists work to understand each individual's strengths and needs. Because progress looks different for everyone, the right support looks different, too.
