This year, Girls on the Run of the Rockies proudly celebrates 20 years of empowering girls all along Colorado’s Front Range to know and activate their limitless potential. Since 2005, we’ve served over 60,000 girls and their families, using a research-based program that combines physical activity with critical life skills - like confidence, resilience, and connection - that carry far beyond the finish line.

Girls on the Run is more than a running program. It's a movement that inspires every participant to celebrate her strengths, speak up for herself and others, and boldly pursue her dreams.

Through lessons rooted in social-emotional learning, caring mentorship from trained coaches, and the power of running, each girl learns that her worth isn’t measured by others' expectations or comparison, but by the STAR power she already holds inside. When a girl crosses the 5K finish line, she carries that sense of accomplishment & the lessons she has learned into every aspect of her life - at school, in her neighborhood, at home, and in her friendships.
