Because of generous supporters like you, someone with limb loss pedals their first mile. A veteran living with paralysis feels the freedom of the water beneath a kayak. A child who thought sports weren’t possible scales a climbing wall and beams with pride. These are not just activities. They are lifelines that fight social isolation, depression, and the barriers that too often keep people on the sidelines.
Your Colorado Gives Day gift helps bring adaptive cycling, climbing, paddlesports, skiing, and more to communities across Colorado and beyond. Because of you, all of this is at no cost to participants. Together, let's create moments of courage, connection, and transformation.

$50 – Fuel our travel to bring a life-changing program into an underserved community.
$150 – Sponsor one adaptive athlete for an entire year of adventures.
$500 – Provide a day of indoor climbing for 10 individuals with spinal cord injuries.
$2,500 – Give 20 athletes with limb loss a day of freedom on adaptive cycles.
$5,000 – Power an Access Adventure Multi-Sport and Family Day.
$10,000 – Sponsor Team Blue, our adaptive dragon boat team, for a season.
$20,000 – Keep one of our five trucks on the road for a year, delivering programs statewide.
Unlike site-based programs, our mobile model brings recreation to the people who need it most—partnering with hospitals, VA centers, parks, and recreation agencies to create sustainable programs where adaptive sports don’t otherwise exist.
We envision a world where every individual with a physical disability has the opportunity to thrive through recreation, regardless of location, equipment, or financial need.

Adaptive Adventures is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) founded in 1999 by a group of individuals with physical disabilities who saw a need for an adaptive sports organization that not only focused on fitness and independence, but also on the social and community aspects of participation in sports.
