Your donation ensures that parents have a place for their children to thrive while they work. Our focus on social emotional growth compliments the developmentally appropriate classroom curriculums. At Young Tracks, we provide education and resources for both children and families. English Language Learner families are welcome and supported by our bilingual English/Spanish speaking teachers. We strive to offer the best possible start to children's education and a base for a successful life . Through your donation today our programs can continue to meet the infant through pre-kindergarten needs of Routt County.
To provide the community a nurturing environment that promotes the development and education of infants, toddlers and preschoolers in a quality setting.
Young Tracks has been a cornerstone of Early Education in Routt County since the late 1990's. A result of a merger of two centers both founded in the early 1990's, the history of serving children and families is deep.
Kim Martin, has been with the organization since 1995 and became the Executive Director in 2006, providing continuitity and stability in leadership. Interesting fact: There are two staff members who, as children, attended Young Tracks and now are providing quality care and education to the youngest members of the community!
Young Tracks strives to enroll a majority of low to moderate income level families and uniquely provides a scratch made breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack, following the USDA's Colorado Adult and Child Food Program. This is an example of Young Tracks committment to nurturing the Whole Child during crucial years for brain development.
