PaRC Place: A Place of Care, Comfort, and Community

At PaRC Place, we believe that every child and family facing complex medical challenges deserves compassionate care, dignity, and support. We are building Colorado’s first dedicated pediatric palliative respite home—a sanctuary where children and young adults with severe medical conditions can receive overnight respite, palliative, and hospice care in a warm, home-like setting.

Families navigating these challenges often experience isolation, exhaustion, and financial strain. At PaRC Place, we provide a place of relief and renewal, where caregivers can take a break knowing their loved ones are in expert, loving hands.

Why PaRC Place? Addressing a Critical Gap in Pediatric Palliative Care

🌟 16,433 children in Colorado live with severe medical conditions.

🌟 24% of caregivers reduce or leave employment due to care responsibilities.

🌟 Every $1,000 spent on respite care reduces hospitalization by 8%.

🌟 40% of caregivers experience depression due to lack of support.

🌟 Colorado has no dedicated pediatric palliative respite home—until now.

Hayley House, a program of PaRC Place, is more than a facility—it’s a lifeline. With your support, we are creating a space where families can find respite, connection, and compassionate care during life’s most challenging moments.

Mission

PaRC Place provides compassionate overnight respite, palliative, and hospice care for medically complex children and young adults. We create a nurturing environment where families find support, comfort, and dignity during life's most challenging moments.

Background Statement

PaRC Place is creating a peaceful, home-like sanctuary where children and young adults with life-limiting and life-altering conditions can receive respite, palliative, and end-of-life care--while the families who love them receive rest, support and community.

Families caring for medically complex children often provide around-the-clock care with little opportunity to rest. PaRC Place will change that by offering up to 28 nights of respite care each year, and unlimited stay for end-of-life care, so families never have to face their hardest moments alone.

This is a new model of compassionate care for our region- one rooted in dignity, peace, and human connection.

There is currently no dedicated pediatric respite and end-of-life care home serving families in our area. Families often travel far from their support system or go without the care they desperately need.

PaRC Place will:

*Reduce caregiver burnout and isolation

*Provide expert medical and emotional support

*Create space for families to rest, reconnect and simply be together

It will take a community to build PaRC Place and this is where your story can begin.
