From the Heart Foundation

From The Heart Foundation, founded in 2018 by Dr. Halim Ali,  is a beacon of community transformation, born from the resilience of individuals who have navigated trauma first hand – those of us who have felt it, know it. We have transformed our own past traumas into strength, compassion and a commitment to be for others what we were not afforded ourselves. Our mission is to uplift fallen humanity, one man, one woman and one child at a time through community events and purposeful programming. 

Our vision is to create a Denver Metro community where mental wellness is prioritized and every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Through advocacy, education, and empowerment, we seek to establish healthy and self-empowered families. Our target audience comprises young people from broken homes, those who may have resigned themselves to street life, or who face behavioral challenges at schools where the teaching staff have resigned themselves to the child's failure. 

In this way, From The Heart not only disrupts the school-to-prison pipeline but also forges a path for young people to reclaim their potential, which was never truly lost.  We aspire to be a pillar of hope and a source of lifelong wellness, fostering a supportive environment that promotes resilience, empowerment, and holistic well-being for all. We are committed to transforming traumatic experiences, restoring mental equilibrium, and building robust personal foundations through radical healing techniques and lifelong wellness tools.
