Vision
We envision a future where rivers and communities provide benefits to each other so that people, plants, and animals thrive.
The health of our communities is directly tied to the health of the rivers and streams that flow through them. We work toward a future where thriving communities and healthy rivers go hand in hand — together, navigating the currents of change, channeling our resources, energy, and passion into projects that safeguard our rivers and nurture our communities.
What We Do
Forever Our Rivers restores and protects rivers and riparian habitat across the Four Corners. We fund and lead on-the-ground restoration, from streambank rebuilding to habitat recovery, guided by scientists and carried out by dedicated crews. We work alongside farmers, ranchers, and local communities to protect clean water supplies, safeguard wildlife habitat, and sustain the way of life that depends on healthy rivers.
Mission
We work to improve the health and vitality of rivers to ensure a future where water and its connected communities thrive.
Forever Our Rivers champions reliable supplies of clean water, protects wildlife habitat, and supports the farmers and ranchers who grow our local food. We work to preserve our unique way of life in the American Southwest — made possible by a dedicated coalition of individuals, values-aligned businesses, and foundations.
