More than 826,000 young people in Colorado are not meeting key Cradle to Career milestones, and the long-term impact is profound. When young people fall behind, our regional workforce weakens, businesses struggle to find talent, and families lose pathways to economic mobility.

Rocky Mountain Partnership Cradle to Career™ (RMP) is working to change this. We serve Adams County, Arvada, Aurora, and Broomfield, one of Colorado’s fastest-growing regions with more than 1 million residents, and are committed to ensuring 71,000 more young people in the north metro region are on track by 2030, beginning with restoring pre-pandemic progress.

To drive this change, we unite decision-makers, community members, and young people (those most impacted) to develop solutions, reduce fragmentation, elevate youth voice, align funding, use data to guide action, and advocate for policies that strengthen Cradle to Career outcomes.

Alongside our regional work, we also lead the Cradle to Career™ Colorado Collective, a growing statewide effort to close the gap for young Coloradans who are off track. We support communities across the state to set aligned targets, use shared data and measurement, and participate in a statewide coalition of Civic Influencers from participating regions, ensuring young leaders help inform solutions that work for their peers.

A Powerful Example of Your Impact: The Civic Influencer Fellowship

We’re excited to share that we have a generous match available during Colorado Gives, meaning your gift can make an even greater impact this season!

One way your gift makes a difference is through the Civic Influencer Fellowship, a 9-month leadership program that equips young people ages 16–24 with civic leadership skills and the opportunity to contribute to a bold, region-wide mission: improving policy, strengthening communities, and supporting 71,000 peers in achieving key Cradle to Career™ milestones by 2030. The Fellowship serves as a springboard, helping young leaders step into roles where they can influence positive change.

The Fellowship also honors the legacy of the late Tom Clark, Colorado’s “Godfather of Regionalism” and former CEO of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. His belief in young people, mentorship, collaboration, and economic development lives on through this program, ensuring the next generation is not only heard, but prepared to lead, and contributing to a thriving Colorado economy.

How Fellows Grow

  • Leadership Training & Mentorship: Skill-building with seasoned civic and community leaders.

  • Experiential Learning: Hands-on participation in community-focused policy and problem-solving projects.

  • Career & Education Pathways: Personalized coaching that helps Fellows take their next step into higher education, public service, business, or the nonprofit sector.

  • Equitable Access: Each Fellow receives a stipend supported through the Tom Clark Legacy Fund™, ensuring all young leaders can participate.

This Fellowship is just one of the many ways RMP develops young leaders and drives collaborative action to improve outcomes for young people.

Your Gift Creates Lasting Change

When you give, you’re not just supporting a program, you’re investing in a coordinated effort that strengthens opportunities for young people, families, and the community as a whole.

Your support helps build a stronger workforce, a more resilient regional economy, and a region where every young person, and every family and employer who depends on them, can thrive.

Every contribution brings us closer to ensuring that young people in our region reach key Cradle to Career™ milestones and are prepared for success in school, work, and life.

🎉 Give $1,000+ and Join Us for a Special Appreciation Event

Anyone who contributes $1,000 or more by December 9 will receive two tickets to an exclusive celebration on December 11 in Denver.

This private, one-night-only event honors the generosity and leadership of donors who step up during the Colorado Gives campaign. Guests will enjoy an intimate fireside conversation with Paul Taylor, a creative force behind iconic global brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, and Disney, exploring what it takes to shape greatness in brands, culture, teams, and the next generation. You’ll also meet the Civic Influencers, the remarkable young leaders whose work your support makes possible.

Join Us in Growing the Next Generation of Colorado’s Civic Leaders. Your generosity helps cultivate leaders, fuel community-driven solutions, and build a stronger future for our region.

Mission

We unite the community to support children and young people up to age 35 in achieving critical milestones from cradle to career.

Vision

Every child and young person, regardless of their background or circumstance, is thriving and contributing to a vibrant economy.

Background Statement

Since 2005, this network has been united by the belief that "we are better TOGETHER." What started as a federally funded effort to address juvenile justice has evolved into a collaborative network of community members and public and private stakeholders. Together, we work to create a region where everyone—regardless of background or circumstance—has the opportunity to achieve economic and social mobility.
