Colorado Doula Project works with abortion providers and more than 100 volunteers to provide security, comfort, and peace of mind for every person seeking an abortion in Colorado. Your donation supports hundreds of abortion seekers annually with reliable rides to and from their appointment, a safe place to stay, a belly full of food, and a trained volunteer abortion doula to help them navigate the experience.

Colorado Doula Project is committed to the inclusion of & advocacy for all individuals & families regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship status, ability, religion, race, country of origin, ethnic background, or class.

You are welcome here.

In a society that continuously threatens people’s autonomy, we provide vital advocacy, compassionate education, and nonjudgmental support to protect the bodily sovereignty of all people, with a specific focus on abortion.

Background Statement

Colorado Doula Project was founded in 2015 as a grassroots, nonprofit, volunteer-based collective of abortion doulas and reproductive justice advocates. As we navigate the tumultuous waters of a post-Roe v. Wade nation, Colorado exists as a port in the storm: a safe haven for its own residents and for those brave travelers escaping restrictions in their own states to access necessary healthcare, at any point in pregnancy.

Together we envision and work towards a world where reproductive justice is not only a given but a right for all individuals and families, regardless of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, class, and background.
