Summary
Family, friends, neighbors, associates… cancer does not take a break during a pandemic. The journey, already filled with doctors, tests, infusions, medicine, and side effects is further complicated by going it alone, delayed surgeries, additional screenings... Our referral partners emphasize the need for respites to relieve the stress which impedes the healing. The answer is Domus Pacis Family Respite, a unique organization that provides an escape from the trappings of cancer. Families are immersed in the majestic beauty of the Rocky Mountains and swaddled in the incredible generosity of community volunteers. Your help is desperately needed as the costs have increased due to Covid-19, while our ability to hold events to raise funds has been dashed. Your donation in any amount is most appreciated.
